Jim Hodges

New York artist Jim Hodges has collaborated with Damien Jalet for over 10 years beginning with Jalet’s improvisations in Hodges’ sculptural installation at Gladstone Gallery, NY in 2011. Other collaborations include Skid, for the GöteborgsOperans Danskompani in 2017; Thr(o)ugh, for the Darmstadt Staatstheater in 2016 and Tarantiseismic, for the National Youth Dance Company at Sadler Wells, London in 2017; Yama, for the Scottish Dance Theatre, 2014. 

Hodges is represented by: Massimo De Carlo Milan, Paris and Hong Kong, Gladstone Gallery, New York and Brussels, Stephen Friedman Gallery, London and Anthony Meier Fine Art, San Francisco and his work is included in many public collections including: The Guggenheim Museum, New York, USA; The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington D.C., USA; Musée National, Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, France; Tate Modern, London, England, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, California, USA; The Museum of Modern Art, New York, USA; The Whitney Museum, New York, USA.
