Zorka studied opera at the music academies in Skopje and Sarajevo. In 1983 she was hired as a soloist at the opera in Sarajevo, where she performed Gilda in Rigoletto, Rosina in The Barber of Seville, Musetta in La bohème, Adele in Die Fledermaus and Adina in L’elisir d’amore.
In 1995, she was hired in the Göteborgs Opera Chorus and has played soloist parts such as Karolka in Jenůfa, Stella in Les contes d’Hoffmann, Gerhilde in Die Walküre and Hernia in Sköna Helena.
