Are you curious about dance? Skapa Dans welcomes you to interact with contemporary dance and with GöteborgsOperans Danskompani in new ways – offering performances, talks, workshops, participatory projects and other activities that will allow you up close.
During season 2024/2025 you can take part in: Dance with baby, Behind the scenes with the dance company, and Try contemporary dance. We have also started a collaboration with Balettakademien in Gothenburg on the Dance for Parkinson’s method.
Skapa Dans also collaborates with schools, cultural schools and organisations such as Save The Children and the asylum center Restad Gård in Vänersborg. In the “Universell Scenkonst” network, we collaborate with Regionteater Väst, the dance company Spinn, the dance course Språng, Big Wind and the Administration for Cultural Development on issues related to accessibility and inclusivity within the performing arts.
