In August the opera’s restaurant and café will re-open for service prior to and during performances. Daily lunch service and the Opera Bar will open later during the autumn.

Open 2.5 hours prior to each performance, and during the intermission. See your ticket for the performance start time. We have varying opening hours for matinées – for information about these, contact us using the details on this page. Read the restaurant menu here


The cafe is open (and also can take bookings for intermission refreshments) from 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to the performance. See our cafe menu here
