We present a unique mix of opera, contemporary dance, musicals and concerts. Click here to see the list of our current and upcoming shows.

There are three ways to buy tickets:

1. The easiest is to buy them online buy clicking on the Buy tickets button on the relevant show page, which you can find here 
2. Call our box office on 031-13 13 00 and follow the instructions.
3. Visit the box office in our foyer.

Ticket prices are based on where you wish to sit in the auditorium, which you can select during the purchase process.

If you’re 20 years old or younger, you pay only 50% of the regular ticket price, for all performances.

Have you heard about our subscriptions?

If you want to buy tickets to 3 or more shows, we strongly recommend our flexible Your Choice subscription, which gives you many fine discounts and privileges over and above the tickets themselves, not only within the Göteborg Opera, but also from our partners. You can also give your subscription tickets to someone else you know if you are unable to attend. Rebooking insurance is also included in all subscriptions.

From seats marked “restricted view”, parts of the stage may be obscured. This means you won’t see everything happening on stage. However, you will hear just as well here as from the other seats in the auditorium.

You can change your ticket to a different date up until the day before the performance by paying a 30 kr exchange fee. Learn more about exchanges and cancellations here

Under 20, or under 28?

Up until you are 20 years old, you only pay 50% of the regular ticket price, and for subscriptions.

Up from 20–28 you pay only 75% of the regular ticket price, and only 50% for subscriptions.

Student prices

Students who can show a Mecenat card (Student ID) pay only 75% or regular ticket prices for all performances. Ring our box office for more information, on tel. 031-13 13 00.
