Peter Loguin

Bass

Peter Loguin is educated at Musikhögskolan in Stockholm and Teater- och Operahögskolan in Gothenburg. In 1988 he started at Stora Teatern, where he made his debut as Zuniga in Carmen. Other roles include Ernst Ludwig in Cabaret, La Taupe in Kappan, Prince Gremin in Eugen Onegin, Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte, Pistola in Falstaff and Sparafucile in Rigoletto.

At the Göteborg Opera Peter Loguin has sung Ramfis in Aida at the Small Stage, Bonzen in Madama Butterfly, Dr Bartolo in Le Nozze di Figaro, Il Commodore in Don Giovanni, Arne Månsson in Äppelkriget, hunter Samuel Nöjd in Kristina from Duvemåla, a jew in Salome, Sciarrone in Tosca, The little brother in Skåpet at the Small Stage, Pritschitsch in The Merry Widow, Hobson in Peter Grimes, Doctor Grenvil in La traviata, Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte, Lillas Pastia in Carmen, Montparnasse and other roles in Les Misérables, Nobleman in Lohengrin, Snowman in The Doll Doctor, Kajafas in Jesus Christ Superstar, Narrator in Junker Nils av Eka, Clerk/Police in Der Rosenkavalier, Agamemnon in La Belle Helene and Surin in Pique Dame.

Peter Loguin has also made guest apperances as the Grand Inquisitor in Don Carlos at Folkoperan in Stockholm.
