Skapa Days

A week of inspiring days for curious people to explore music, singing, theatre and dance! Admission is free to our activities, but you need to book a ticket. Skapa Days is a recurring activity which takes place over a few days each term, with participation from all of Skapa’s different focus groups, and gives you the audience a chance to participate too. Our focus areas include children and youth, an intersectional perspective as well as work with accessibility from many different approaches. With Skapa Days we try to reflect life from many different perspectives, and the activities can contain singing, music, dance, visual arts and theatre – all with the intent to develop participation and allow for fun experiences. The kinds of activities we have include an Open Mic for all ages, Friday Hang Out for young people, and specific performances for different groups. Our Children’s and Youth Choirs perform together with Skapa Dance, the Skapa Choir and different collaborators. You are more than welcome to join us, whether you have previous experience with the performing arts or not!

These events are held twice per season and offer something for all ages. Most of the action happens on the Small Stage.

Skapa Days are a fabulous opportunity to explore music, singing, musical drama and dance. Try different experiences, inspire others and be filled with inspiration yourself!
