You collect the card in our box office after you buy the subscription. Then don’t forget to bring your card with you to the opera house when you attend a performance – you’ll need to show it to receive the benefits.

Two for one

Two for one at Stadsteatern. You may buy 2 tickets for the price of 1 at Göteborgs Stadsteater and Backa Teater. The offer applies for one occasion for regular performances (not guest performances) and may booked 3 days in advance of the performance.

Two for one at Konserthuset. You may buy 2 tickets for the price of 1. This offer applies on one occasion, for regular concerts with Göteborgs Symfoniker, as long as seats are available. Only available as a direct purchase at Konserthuset’s box office from the Monday of the performance week.

Free admission to a guided tour. Take a friend with you behind the scenes at the Göteborg Opera during June - August.

Discounts at the Göteborg Opera

You get:

10% discount on tickets when you purchase extra tickets over and above your existing subscription. Max. 4 tickets per performance and subscription.

15% discount on food and alcohol-free drinks at the Göteborg Opera Restaurant, Opera Bar, cafés and Sommarveranda. Does not apply to pre-orders for the interval. 

10% discount in the Opera Shop. Does not apply to performance programmes, and may not be combined with other discounts.

25% discount in the Opera Shop on one occasion during the season. Applies until 2024-06-30, and may not be combined with other discounts.

Discounts at other opera houses

Kungliga Operan (The Royal Swedish Opera House). 25% discount on 1 ticket to any performance during season 2023/2024, except premieres. Book by calling tel. 08-791 44 00, and mention ”GöteborgsOperan” when booking.

Malmö Opera. 25% discount on 1 ticket to any performance during season 2023/2024, except premieres and guest performances. Book on malmoopera.se with the discount code: GOTEBORG.

Exchanges

You may change your ticket free of charge to another performance of the same production up to 24 hours prior to the performance start (normally 30 kr per ticket).

Don’t forget to bring your subscription card to be able to access these benefits.
