On Tuesday during the Easter school holidays, we’ll open up the house to all curious children, their parents and guardians for this year’s theme of courage.
Food and drink
The café will be open until 3.30pm, and the restaurant will be open for lunch between 11.30am and 2.00pm.

All activities are free, but with limited available spaces, so you need to book a ticket for the activities marked with an asterisk (*) below. Tickets will be available to book from 10:00 am on 5 April.

Small Stage
Try on theatre cosutmes, let a make-up artist paint your face, be directed by a stage director, pat the robot dog Grim from the opera Sir Arne's Treasure, watch how hats and wigs are made, how we work with leather as well as how we make props and costumes look older than they are – giving them a “patina”.
Main Stage
Take a peek in the auditorium to see us working on the stage technology for the opera Rigoletto.
Foyer
Make something to help you feel braver, test some VR-goggles, browse curiosa from our music library, search for patterns, and win great prizes.
Throughout the day artists and musicians from the house will fill the foyer with musical interludes.
