The Year 2 Choir is a meeting place for children to discover the power of music in concert. There will be a fabulous party atmosphere in the auditorium when over 300 children put their voices together in a programme of song, music, dance and unbridled joy.
During the academic year 2023/24, pupils in Year 2 at Gothenburg’s schools will practise and sing under the direction of educators from Kulturskolan, the City of Gothenburg’s cultural pedagogic programme. In May, it will be time for them to take to the Main Stage at The Göteborg Opera to sing in The Year 2 Choir.
