Experience an unforgettable Twelfth Night! The Göteborg Opera’s soloists, chorus and orchestra light up the stage with a cavalcade of operetta classics in two acts. Gems from Die Fledermaus, The Beautiful Galatea, Boccaccio, The Beggar Student and other operettas whirl past framed by a story in which the singers get ready to attend a ball given by Prince Orlofsky from Die Fledermaus.
After the concert, the Main Stage will be transformed into a ballroom. The dancers wear white tie and tails, tuxedos, silk ballgowns, black sheath dresses and pantsuits – dress in whatever you find beautiful!
Dining
If you feel like beginning or rounding off the evening with something tasty, then the Göteborg Opera’s restaurant, Opera Bar and cafés all offer different menus. Most of the dining options must be pre-booked, and we recommend booking well in advance. Watch this space for the evening’s menus, which will be published here as the date approaches.
