Our repertoire consists almost exclusively of new works created for the company on-site in Gothenburg. These productions are created by some of the most acclaimed choreographers of our time, in collaboration with international creative teams, composers and musicians.
The unique expression that is the hallmark of GöteborgsOperans Danskompani attracts international attention – since in addition to performances on our home stages, the company tours to sold-out houses all over the world. The company has inaugurated international dance festivals and performed on stages such as the Kennedy Center, White Bird and Carolina performing arts in the USA, Kampnagel and Movimentos in Germany, Belgian De Singel, La vilette and Théâtre national de Chaillot in France, Sadler’s Wells in the UK, Steps festival in Switzerland and has toured China.
