Viola Esmeralda was born in Cuneo, Italy. She studied at the ESDC Rosella Hightower, in France. She then continued at Codarts University Rotterdam, with a Jiri Kyliàn foundation scholarship, where she graduated with Summa Cum Laude.
During the 2021-2022 season she danced at the Lyon Opera Ballet.
Viola joined GöteborgsOperans Danskompani in July 2022 and has performed in the following productions: Forever, Maybe, Wild Poetry, The Bus Will Arrive In 10 Minutes, To Kingdom Come, Hammer, Astronaut.
