Luca Guarini

Luca Guarini was born in Taranto, Italy in 1986. He studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence before moving to Madrid to start his career as a visual artist. Since 2011, he has been the Editor-in-Chief and Creative Director of DUST magazine, a biannual publication based in Berlin that he founded. The magazine explores themes of identity, aesthetics, and contemporary youth culture within a shifting sociopolitical landscape.

In addition to his editorial work, Guarini is active as a freelance creative, costume designer, art director, and stylist across various international contexts, working in fashion, music, and dance. His work often focuses on constructing visual narratives that oscillate between realism and abstraction. He has also contributed to the creative direction of numerous editorials, campaigns, and international artist collaborations.
