Andrei Danilov

Andrei Danilov, tenor, made his stage debut as Rodolfo in La Boheme at Opera Graz in the 2021/2022 season and appeared in the title role in Gounod´s Faust at Wroclaw Opera, Poland.

As ensemble member at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, at least until the end of season 2022-2023, he has sung Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Rodolfo in La Boheme, Alfredo in La Traviata and Ferrando in Cosi fan tutte. Danilov’s recent appearances include his debut at Wiesbaden Hessisches Staatstheater as Rodolfo in La Boheme and Il Duca in Rigoletto, at Opera de Lyon,  Fisherman in The Nightingale, Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore with the Staatstheater Cottbus, Alfredo in La Traviata at the Umberto Giordano Theater Foggia (Italy), Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni on the stage of Teatro Verdi in Padova, and appearances in Bern, Basel, Zurich and Sigriswil in collaboration with the Opern Werkstatt Festival, Switzerland. His notable past engagements include a concert performance of Smetana’s Prodaná nevěsta for the Novaya Opera Theatre, Moscow and Almeric in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia. Andrei Danilov joined Irkutsk Musical Theater in 2011, where he could be seen in various roles in the operetta and musical productions, his operatic repertoire there included Lensky in Eugene Onegin, Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto, Alfredo in La Traviata among others.
