Conny Thimander

Conny Thimander, Swedish tenor, received his Master of Arts degree from the University College of Opera in Stockholm. He has been a guest  in opera houses such as The Royal Swedish Opera, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Theater Bonn, Baden-Baden Festspielhaus, Den Jyske Opera, Malmö Opera, Piccolo Regio Torino, Piteå Chamber Opera, NorrlandsOperan, Drottningholm Palace Theatre, Vadstena-Akademien, Folkoperan and Confidencen - Ulriksdal Palace Theatre.

Season of 2021/22 he sang Francis Flute in A Midsummer Night's Dream at Malmö Opera, Jan in The Emperor's New Clothes at Norrlandsoperan and Police Inspector in Sjostakovitj’s The Nose at the Royal Danish Opera and in the summer of 2022 he sings Gustaf III in Werle’s Tintomara at Läckö Castle Opera. At the Gothenburg Opera, he has previously sung Misail and The Holy Fool in Boris Godunov and The dancing master and Scaramuccio in Ariadne auf Naxos, both in 2018.
