Nina Norblad trained at the Academy of Music and Drama at the University of Gothenburg. From 2011 to 2020, Nina was coordinator of the Music Programme at the Academy, where she currently teaches vocal and theatrical performance. As a musical artist, Nina has appeared in everything from major to supporting roles and ensembles in musicals such as West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Sunset Boulevard, Les Misérables, Jesus Christ Superstar, Nine, Hair, My Fair Lady, Cats, Footloose, Mary Poppins, Carmencita Rockefeller and Billy Elliot in theatres including The Göteborg Opera, Malmö Opera, Östgötateatern, Stora Teatern and Stockholms Stadsteater. This is Nina’s ninth production at The Göteborg Opera.
