Tord Hansson trained at the Ballet Academy in Gothenburg. He has performed as Nigel Bottom in Something Rotten and Ralph in Groundhog Day at Wermland Opera, as well as Carl in Tootsie at Oscarsteatern and Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar at Dalhalla.
As a cover Tord has performed as Jean Valjean in Wermland Opera's production of Les Misérables and Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar at Åbo Swedish Theatre, among other roles. In the 23/24 season, he participated in the musical Änglagård at the Oscarsteatern.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was Tord’s debut at Göteborg Opera.
