Joy, energy, dance and a fairy-tale ending! Rossini’s opera is a playful and sparkling classic, perfect for both seasoned opera lovers and the cautiously curious. With the Göteborg Opera’s soloists, chorus and orchestra. Revival premiere.

Rehearsals for the opera La bohème

Sit in the auditorium to watch rehearsals for the opera La bohème by Puccini, as the cast prepares for the revival premiere in September.
Please note that this is not a full performance, but a work-in-progress rehearsal where the director may interrupt to give notes, instruct the performers to re-do a certain section, and so on.
Featuring the Göteborg Opera’s soloists, chorus and orchestra. Performed in Italian. Free admission, but you must book a ticket. Limited availability.

Curious about culture for children and young adults?
Small Stage & foyer, 12:00 & 14:00
A presentation and concert in the foyer. Discover what we offer for young audiences at the Opera in the 2025/2026 season. Then the Göteborg Opera Youth Choir will join in for a delightful concert. (Approx. 60 min.) Free admission, but you must book a ticket.
Movement & improvisation workshop (in English)
Starts in the foyer, 15:20.
For ages 15 and up. Explore emotion, experiences, and playfulness through movement and dance. We recommend comfortable clothes that allow free movement, but no prior experience is necessary. Led by Joseba Yerro Izaguirre, dancer in GöteborgsOperans Danskompani. Free admission, but you must book a ticket. Presented in English.
