Opening hours
Our opening hours vary, depending on performance start times. On your ticket you can see when the performance that you are going to attend will begin.
Box office and Opera Shop
The box office and shop are located in the foyer, in a glass room a few metres inside the main entrance on the left hand side.

Opening hours
Monday: Closed
Tues – Fri 12:00–16:00, or until the performance begins. Phones open from 13:00.
Sat 12:00 until the performance begins. Phones open from 13:00.
Sun 3 hours prior to performance starts.
Please note: Closed on weekends and public holidays without performances.
You can find performance start times listed on this page, or on your ticket. That same page also shows which days which have performances or not. You may purchase tickets any time here on the website even when our box office is closed.
Opening hours for the restaurant, Opera Bar and café
Restaurant, dinner
Dinner service opens 2.5 hours prior to each Main Stage performance, and during the interval. See your ticket for the performance start time.
We have varying opening hours for matinées (afternoon performances). For information about these, contact us using the details on this page.
The à la carte menu is served before operas, musicals and some concerts.
The bistro menu is served before dance performances and most concerts.
Restaurant, lunch
Lunch is served weekdays 11:30–14:00.

Opera Bar
The Opera Bar opens 2 hours before operas and musicals on the Main Stage, but is not open for the general public at premieres. Closed for matinée (afternoon) performances and dance performances.
