From one of the most influential and beloved choreographers of our time, Crystal Pite’s global success Frontier here in a new, updated version that premiered with Ballet BC in Pite’s hometown of Vancouver in autumn 2024.
Frontier looks towards a dark and eerie universe. Solos, duets, and large ensemble scenes, visible and invisible, shifting like shadows in a borderland between what we know and the unknown. The darkness embraces and makes the impossible possible.
