Born in Cyprus. He studied Interior/3D Design at Kingston University and Set and Costume Design at Motley Theatre Design course in London.
He has designed sets and costumes for the Salzburg Festival, Bregenz Festival, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Opera di Roma, The Royal Opera Copenhagen, Greek National Opera, Lisbon Opera, Gothenburg Opera, Malmö Opera, Valencia Opera, Scottish Opera, Savonlinna Opera Festival, Bergen National Opera, Novaya Opera Moscow, Grange Park Opera, Opera Northern Ireland, Chicago Opera Theatre, The Royal Ballet, The Royal Albert Hall, Scottish Ballet, Chichester Festival, Greek National Theatre, National Theatre of Cyprus (THOC), National Theatre of Northern Greece, The Athens Festival, and The Epidaurus Festival among others.
He has collaborated with directors Stephen Langridge, Graham Vick, Nicola Raab, Rodula Gaitanou, Christopher Alden, Will Tuckett, Stathis Livathinos and many more. Productions include Carmen, Lohengrin, Falstaff, Damnation de Faust, Tristan und Isolde, Ariadne auf Naxos, The Marriage of Figaro, Cosi fan Tutte, Don Carlos, La Traviata, Elisir d’Amore, Xerxes, Edgar, La Forza del Destino and many more.
He has taken part in the Prague Quadrennial Theatre exhibition in 2007 and 2023 as part of the Greek edelegation and the exhibition Collaborators at the Vicoria and Albert Museum in London. In 2010 he had a solo exhibition, Le fil D’Arianne, in Uzes, France.
