Internationally, GöteborgsOperans Danskompani are almost as acclaimed as rock stars, and tickets for their tour performances sell out all over the world. When four dancers go on tour in Västra Götaland with Little Concert, they will perform not only as dancers but also as rock stars: a garage band surrounded by the audience, and all of them enveloped in sound.
The choreographer Mari Carrasco creates energetic, twisted worlds with a strong affinity for music, and in this piece the music is by composer Mikael Karlsson, who also composed the music for Alexander Ekman’s critically-acclaimed dance piece Hammer.
