A chest stands on stage, containing all the music in the world, but an evil witch wants to keep it silent. She has shattered the key to the chest and taken the music captive. Together with opera singers and the orchestra, the audience will set out on a musical quest to outwit the witch.
Sounds, movement and rhythm become magical tools. Along the way, we encounter brave figures from the world of opera, mysterious forces and instruments that slowly awaken and come back to life. Can the children help find all the pieces of the key, mend it – and set the music free once more?
