David Bergström has been First Concertmaster of the Gothenburg Opera since 2001. He studied with Per Enoksson and Milan Vitek, among others. Alongside his work at the opera house, he is active as a soloist and chamber musician.
David Bergström made his solo debut with the Stockholm Sinfonietta under the direction of Sixten Ehrling, and has since appeared in a wide range of contexts, both in Sweden and internationally. He is also regularly engaged as a guest concertmaster, including with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
