About the project
From September 2018 to June 2019, a group of young people took part in a project called Meet the Ministry. They gained a unique insight into the professional creative process concerning choreographer Jo Strømgren’s dance piece The Ministry of Unresolved Feelings. Together with dancers from GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, they experimented with both movements and narrative forms. The participants got a close-up view of contemporary dance as an art form, and were given the opportunity to co-create digital material in which they shared their experiences from the project.
The group presented their work through text, images and dance at the Göteborg Opera Small stage during the GöteborgsOperans Dansfestival in June, 2019.

Collaborations and participants
Meet the Ministry was a Skapa Dance project. Workshops were done in collaboration with University of Borås, and the video series was made in collaboration with non-profit association Göthenburgo.
