Operankortet - Göteborg Opera

The Opera Card is inactive for the summer between 2 June – 24 August, and will be available for loan again from 25 August.

Borrow a visit to the Göteborg Opera from your library! Discover grand drama and music, extraordinary dance, powerful emotions and memories for a lifetime. To access Operankortet, all you need is a library card. The Göteborg Opera offers a range of performances in the genres: opera, contemporary dance, musicals and classical music concerts.

How it works

From 25/8 it will be available at the following libraries: Angered Library, Frölunda Library, Bergsjön Library, Biskopsgården Library and Stadsbiblioteket 300 m2 in Brunnsparken.
You need a library card to borrow Operankortet, but it’s free of charge to borrow it.
Bring Operankortet to the Göteborg Opera’s box office. Find us
Exchange Operankortet for 2 tickets to one of the performances that week which are included.

Good to know

The Göteborg Opera decides which performances are available.

Tickets cannot be borrowed to sold-out performances.

You may borrow Operankortet once per year.

Operankortet cannot be reserved. You must physically visit one of the libraries in Lundby or Opaltorgets bibliotek, Kulturhuset Bergsjön, Stadsbiblioteket at Götaplatsen, or 300 m² in Brunnsparken. Check the library catalogue Gotlib to see if a card is available.

The loan period is Tuesday to Sunday. The loan period cannot be extended.
