New creation by Botis Seva
British dance phenomenon Botis Seva creates uncompromising dance art. Fusing hip-hop, breakdance, physical theatre and contemporary movement into an expression entirely his own, his works are both brutal and deeply moving, driven by pounding rhythms and heartfelt intensity. His creation for GöteborgsOperans Danskompani is, Botis Seva says, inspired by the hierarchic structures of the British boarding school system. In spring 2025, Botis Seva and his company Far from the Norm visited the Göteborg Opera Dance Festival with BLKDOG, winner of the 2019 Olivier Award.
