We have 48 full-time staff in roles which include lighting technicians, stage technicians, stage managers, lighting operators and more. Including contracted extra support for stage technicians and spotlight operators we are about 60 strong. Stage managers responsible for a production follow the process all the way from initial idea presentations by the creative team, all the way to dissassembling, packing and storage at the end of the production run.
Sound is always amplified for musicals, and different sound technologies are being used more and more for dance and opera in order to improve audio quality both for the audience and for those on stage. Many costume changes may be needed during performances, so our wardrobe staff makes sure that the right costumes end up in the right places at the right time.
