Musical theatre is always intense. So big! Stormy emotions, dramatic endings, complex intrigues. People die for love. Jealousy leads to murder. Longing is bottomless. And if it's a comedy, everything goes wrong until – against all odds – the story ends happily. I love it – every time.
There’s something liberating about an art form that refuses to hold back, which demands the utmost from the singers, musicians and everyone behind the scenes who helps create the magic on stage. Music fills the auditorium and goes straight to your emotions, intensifying every moment. Moments where so much is at stake, amplified until it becomes too much to bear ... almost.

You can experience many such moments on stage this season.
In Verdi's La Traviata, a woman chooses love despite the world condemning her. In the dystopian 1984, a man chooses truth in a society built on lies. The Barber of Seville solves everything with charm and intelligence – until everything goes off the rails. In Wicked a young woman defies the world to become the witch everyone fears. Desperate choices, brave choices, crazy choices – and we are there with them all, together in the dark auditorium. Then when the lights come up, we are forever changed.
