The Västra Götaland Region’s sustainability policy is based on “Vision Västra Götaland – The Good Life” (Det goda livet), which stipulates that current and future generations must be guaranteed sound economic, social, and environmental conditions. A sustainable society must meet the needs of the present without compromising the needs of future generations.
