An inspicient is like a technical conductor who ensures that all cues for stage equipment, technology, lighting and entrances occur at the right time and in the right place. They assist the conductor, sound designer and director so that each production can live up to their technical and artistic vision.
Each production also has a scenmästare who is responsible for all set decor and technology. The scenmästare is responsible for the stage crew throughout a production, and works with the set all the way from early planning meetings until the last performance. Together, the inspicients, scenmästare and stage crew all contribute to realising the set designer's vision.
