Previous Club Forte events

In previous sessions, we have been joined by guests such as Lars Strannegård, President of the Stockholm School of Economics; Jonna Bornemark, Professor of Philosophy; and Charlotta Mellander, Professor of Economics—alongside leaders including Kina Wileke, Executive Vice President of Communications at Volvo Group, and Martin Nilsson Jacobi, President of Chalmers University of Technology.

Christina Björklund, CEO of the Göteborg Opera; Katrín Hall, Artistic Director for GöteborgsOperans Danskompani; and Henning Ruhe, Artistic Director for Opera/Drama, have contributed perspectives rooted in the practice and leadership of the performing arts.

We have also been introduced to a stage manager who guided us through the evolution of stage machinery—from the mechanisms used in antiquity to the high-tech systems of today’s opera houses—offered a behind-the-scenes look at rehearsals for Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute), and provided exclusive insights into the advanced stage technology here at the Opera.
