Simon & Garfunkel’s melodies and harmonies brought them global success. Theirs is a unique interplay of two voices that at times renders it almost impossible to discern who is carrying the melody. Based on their own fascination for the duos vocal harmonies, Fredrik Berglund and Simon Ljungman have crafted this tribute concert for a large choir.
In this choral concert, the songs allow more than two voices to shine. They are performed in constellations ranging from duo, quartet and small vocal ensemble to a choir of hundreds and, who knows, perhaps the entire auditorium will burst into song. This is guaranteed to be an extraordinary concert.
In their own playful way, Berglund and Ljungman imbue singers, musicians and audience alike with the joy of song.
