Creative Associate

Jordan Douglas is a versatile dance artist and educator who earned a BA (Hons) in Dance from Kingston University in 2015. During his studies, he began performing with hip-hop theatre company Far From The Norm in 2014 launching a dynamic performance career. During his tenure with the company he has trained in a plethora of Street styles but his main practice lies in Krump. In 2015, he joined Step into Dance - a Royal Academy of Dance-supported programme - teaching in both mainstream and special educational needs schools across London and Essex. As a core member of Far From The Norm, Jordan has performed in key works, touring internationally and supporting artistic director Botis Seva alongside Victoria Shulungu on several choreographic projects. He was a lead artist in Making Moves, a Sadler’s Wells youth initiative, and in 2025, he was appointed Creative Associate of Far From The Norm.

Beyond the stage, Jordan also battles using Krump. Through this he aims to bring an engagement in physicality and a commitment to vulnerability into the studio. Creating an environment that challenges and lifts participants to a new level and understanding of themselves.
