Marina Rodríguez, originally from Valencia, trained in Classical Dance at the Riba-roja del Turia Professional Dance Conservatory. During her studies she took part in competitions in Spain, Cuba, and Italy, receiving several national and international awards. She graduated with the Spanish Ministry of Education Award for Excellence and later completed a BA (Hons) in Dance and Professional Performance at the Central School of Ballet, University of Kent (2010). Since then, she has worked as a freelance dancer with companies across Spain, the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, and beyond. From 2013 to the present, she has toured internationally with La Veronal, also assisting Marcos Morau on major productions worldwide. In 2017, she received the Critics’ Award for Best Dancer for Kova – Geographic Tools. She also collaborates as a photographer/videographer on different artistic projects.
