Silvia Delagneau

Costume Designer

Set and costume designer and stage creator, with a practice focused on building scenic imaginaries through costume. She trained at the Institut del Teatre of Barcelona and at the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. Since 2017, she has maintained a close collaboration with Marcos Morau and the dance company La Veronal, developing costumes that engage with the moving body and support the dancer, allowing them to shift between character and physical presence. Among her most recent projects is Wunderkammer, presented at the Komische Oper Berlin in 2025 in collaboration with the Staatsballett Berlin. She has worked across dance, opera, and contemporary performance. Her work has received several awards, including the City of Barcelona Theatre Prize (2019), the Max Award for Best Costume Design (2024) for the opera Alexina B (Liceu, 2022/23 season), and the Max Award 2025 for the costumes of Afanador, a creation by Marcos Morau for the Spanish National Ballet (Liceu, 2024/25 season).
