Anna is, since 30 years, a freelance lighting designer working in theatre, opera, musicals and dance. Educated at the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts (now Stockholm University of the Arts). As resident in Gothenburg Anna works all over Sweden.
Her previous collaborators include members of the team bringing Kärlek skonar ingen (Love Spares No One) to the stage, having worked with Victoria Brattström, Gunilla Olsson Karlsson and Karin Dahlström on the musical Passion at Spira in Jönköping, where she has also designed the lighting for shows such as Camera, On the Town och Hedda Gabler. Passion also played at Norrlandsoperan. Anna has also designed lighting at Göteborgs Stadsteater, Backa Theatre, Folkteatern, Dramaten, and a number of productions at Vadstena-Akademien, including Orpheus.
Anna has previously worked at The Göteborg Opera on Mitt livs berättelse (The Story of My Life) and several sets for GöteborgsOperans Danskompani. She has worked on a number of productions with set designer Karin Dahlström, including Feardom by Camilla Ekelöf and Det blir Kaos i världen [There Will Be Chaos in the World] at Regionteater Väst, where Anna is regular engaged as a lighting designer. Anna also teaches lighting design at the Stockholm University of the Arts.
