Sound designer Avgoustos Psillas has designed over 55 theatre and musical theatre productions mainly for London’s West End, UK and European tours and on Broadway. Some of his most well-known credits are: Matilda, A Chorus Line, Shrek, Spamalot, Avenue Q, Legally Blonde, Elf, Funny Girl, Sweeney Todd, The Sound of Music, Pippin, Melancholia and many more. Recently, he completed a new original sound design for the world premiere of Joyride The Musical. Based on music by the Swedish band Roxette. A Malmö Opera/Per Gessle production.
In 2020 Avgoustos Psillas established Audio Carft Scandinavia AB in after 12 years at Autograph Sound, London, where he worked as a sound designer. Autograph Sound is a British sound design and equipment hire company, responsible for numerous theatre productions in the UK and abroad, including: Hamilton, Les Misérables, Wicked, Mamma Mia!, Book of Mormon, Mary Poppins, Matilda, Harry Potter and The Cursed Child and many others.
