Aylin Bozok

Staging Director

Aylin Bozok, Turkish-Swiss opera and theatre director was born into a family of musicians; started the piano at the age of 4 and sang as a member of the children’s chorus of the Grand Théâtre de Genève from the age of 10. Trained in the Stanislavski System, she graduated with a degree in Theatre Directing from Bilkent University (Ankara) and was recognised as one of the youngest directors to stage a play in Istanbul State Theatre. Aylin has won the WhatsOnStage Best Newcomer to the UK Operatic Scene 2014 Opera Poll with her production of Pelléas et Mélisande.
