The American tenor is a sought after Siegfried in Wagner’s Ring and performed this role at the San Francisco and Washington National Opera, the Stuttgart and Karlsruhe State Operas, the Wagner Days Budapest, with the Hong Kong and the Odense Philharmonic Orchestras, at the Opéra de Dijon and in a special version of The Ring at the Theater an der Wien. His international career brought him a.o. to the Metropolitan Opera New York, the Scala di Milano, Oper House Zürich, State Opera Munich, Deutsche Oper Berlin, to Amsterdam, Bilbao, Nancy and the Salzburg Festival. Here he can be heard in roles like Desportes in Zimmermann’s Die Soldaten, Laca in Jenufa, Alwa in Lulu, The False Dmitry in Boris Godunov, Boris in Katja Kabanowa, Tambourmajor in Wozzeck, Siegmund in Walküre, Herodes in Salome or Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus.

Daniel performs with renowned conductors and directors such as Christoph von Dohnányi, Kirill Petrenko, Seji Ozawa, Daniel Harding, Ingo Metzmacher, Ádám Fischer, Michael Schoenwandt, Jaap van Zweden, Achim Freyer, Alvis Hermanis, Andreas Baesler, Peter Konwitschny, William Kentridge, Francesca Zambello…

Due to Corona he lost contracts at the Grand Théâtre de Genève as Parsifal, the State Opera Stuttgart as Tristan in Tristan und Isolde and as Tambourmajor in Wozzeck at the Festival Aix-en-Provence.

Future projects will take him with Tristan, Siegfried or Tambourmajor to Opéra de Monte Carlo, Opéra de Lille and to Helsinki National Opera.

A CD of Götterdämmerung with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra was released at the label Naxos.
