Set and costume designer

Set and costume designer David Woodhead has created designs for numerous acclaimed productions, including Titanic, which won the Off West End Award for Best Designer and was nominated for the Broadway World Award for Best Set & Costume Design as well as the Canadian Dora Award for Outstanding Achievement in Costume Design.

Woodhead’s theatre credits include 101 Dalmatians on tour in the UK, Joyride at Malmö Opera, Ali Cook: Principles of Deception at Royal & Derngate, Miss Saigon in Oslo, Titanic on tour in Canada, Europe and China, Mrs. Warren’s Profession at Theatre Royal Bath and on tour in the UK, Nativity! at Birmingham Rep and Hammersmith Apollo, The Da Vinci Code on tour in the UK, The Hound of the Baskervilles at Bolton Octagon, English Theatre Frankfurt, and on tour in the UK, Rent at Hope Mill Theatre, Gaslight at Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto, Strangers on a Train and Gaslight on ATG UK Tours, A Little Night Music at Watermill Theatre, and The Truth at Zorlu Centre, Istanbul.

David trained in set and costume design at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, graduating with first-class honours. He was also a finalist in the Linbury Prize for Stage Design.
